Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of excavation work on residential and heavy residential construction sites.
- Monitor project costs and budgets, assess work progress in percentage, and produce detailed daily reports.
- Plan and oversee excavation, backfilling, and earthworks.
- Collaborate with project managers to resolve site issues, adjust plans in case of errors or missing information, and anticipate material needs.
- Plan machinery, labor, and transportation requirements.
- Prepare and organize installation work as well as the methods to be used.
- Verify material deliveries to construction sites.
- Work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines and constraints.
- Supervise and motivate work teams to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with external experts to ensure compliance with regulations, if necessary.
- Conduct site visits across all active projects and provide expertise to optimize team performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and construction standards.
- Excellent team management and communication skills.
- Good command of construction management software and digital tools.
- Health and safety certification (e.g., ASP Construction).
