WHAT WE OFFER

- Perform pre-use checks on heavy machinery and ensure their maintenance and upkeep;
- Operate and maneuver heavy machinery to load, move, or spread various materials and to erect or demolish certain structures;
- Install the equipment and accessories necessary for the proper functioning of heavy machinery;
- Ensure that the equipment is used safely and efficiently, adhering to all related regulations and procedures;
- Perform other maintenance and construction tasks on the site when not operating heavy machinery;
- Install and repair guide rails and fences;
- Ensure the site is functional;
- Assist colleagues in carrying out their tasks;
- Notify the construction contractor of any required maintenance or repairs, completing written reports when necessary.
DAILY TASKS
- Perform pre-use checks on heavy machinery and inspect the equipment’s condition, reporting any defects to the site supervisor;
- Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating heavy machinery, as well as minor repairs or emergency adjustments;
- Start and shut down the machinery’s engine safely, following any applicable procedures.
EMPLOYER REQUIREMENTS
- Hold the competence certificate issued by the Commission de la construction CCQ to work on construction sites
- Hold the ASP Construction card
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
