Under the supervision of the foreman, the selected individual will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Assist the excavator operator and colleagues in daily tasks;
- Assist in the maintenance and inspection of heavy machinery, reporting any defects to the site supervisor;
- Level excavation bottoms with a laser;
- Mark building boundaries according to plans;
- Install drainage equipment, water inlets, and general building piping;
- Ensure that equipment is used safely and efficiently, adhering to all related regulations and procedures;
- Perform maintenance and construction tasks on the site;
- Transport machinery and materials.
EMPLOYER REQUIREMENTS:
- Hold the Certificate of Competence issued by the Commission de la construction (CCQ);
- Hold the ASP Construction card;
- Hold a driver’s license;
- Versatility;
- Varied work schedules;
- Mechanical knowledge is an asset;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Autonomy and reliability;
- Adherence to deadlines.
